Perform strategic content and exposure planning for media advertising campaigns that target

Chinese American and other Asian American segments. Deploy the digital analytics platform to

monitor and optimize digital marketing campaigns. Conduct competitive research on the key

competitors in the Asian American market and assist in building brand conquest strategies for

campaigns. Use data management platform to scale target audience on digital platform and help

to shape digital strategy. Conduct media market research to ascertain suitable and effective print,

TV, radio, interactive, and outdoor media, costs associated with each, and related data. Make

recommendations based on ascertained information and knowledge of media marketing.

Systematically research non-advertising sources of favorable exposure, such as community

events offering sponsorships, worthy charitable causes, and related activities. Present options for

this type of corporate communications in the form of reports for transmittal to client decision-

makers. Maintain a deep understanding of Chinese American and multicultural Asian American

media landscape. Maintain relationships with Asian American media vendors. Remain current on

the Asian American market penetration statistics and demographic characteristics of online and

emerging media for possible recommendation to clients. Evaluate content for message accuracy

and impact. Perform major participation in media planning and placement through liaison with

Accounting, Creative, and Strategic Planning departments. Receive final budget from

management for advertising, branding, and public relations pertaining to specific client accounts.

Maintain budget control and ensure execution of media plans by authorizing approved media

schedules and monitoring buys/schedules. Evaluate and consider summaries of client media

preferences and priorities with respect to content, themes, and balance among different sources

of exposure. Develop media plan and timeline. Require prior cost and circulation research to

meet budget and client expectations. Designated to perform project management functions for

specific campaigns from time to time as determined by management.

Two (2) years of experience as marketing specialist, marketing analyst, or closely related position.
