Senior Social Media Brand Manager - Long Beach, CA

Intertrend Communications is a leading multicultural advertising and marketing communications agency that targets the Asian American community. We help brands make meaningful connections, build relationships, and win over new fans.

The Senior Social Media Brand Manager oversees the planning, execution, optimization, delivery, and analysis of all social media campaigns for a variety of multicultural clients. The ideal candidate should have leadership skills, proven experience in earned social media advertising, and be highly organized with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop long term and tactical social media strategies across the social media ecosystem, including Facebook, Instagram, Snap, Pinterest, TikTok, LInkedIn, Twitter, Wechat and more

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content tailored to each platform, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to best practices. Communicate ad creative needs to in-house design team

  • Manage the editorial strategy, calendar, and publishing for Intertrend’s owned and sponsored content

  • Manage all aspects of paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, ad creative development, and performance tracking.

  • Coordinate and execute all content capture on set during client shoots and live agency-led events

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor, measure, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously improve social media strategies and tactics.

  • Act as a resource for social media expertise for the client and internal accounts team

  • Oversee the training and provide QA for the Social Specialist

  • In conjunction with the Social Specialist, communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

  • Provide campaign analysis, and social listening reports to media team when requested (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Sprout Social etc

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-7 years experience of digital / multi-platform content creation and social media management experience

  • Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, X, wechat and emerging platforms (plus how best to utilize them), digital content marketing toolsets and performance marketing, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Knowledge on Paid Social Programmatic a plus

  • Experience with creative tools such as CapCut, Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Ability to confidently present, actively listen, and champion ideas

  • Proven success in managing budgets, scopes, tight timelines and production

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth, and developing a positive and engaging work culture.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement, growth, and conversions.

  • Must have an interest in multicultural marketing/audiences and/or Asian American audience/culture/segment.

  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
